New Tables and Chairs

Febraury 2009: The Committee has been looking at the need to replace our ageing Tables and chairs. The tables are solid wood and are heavy to manhandle around. The plastic, metal framed chairs are beginning to show their age and a number have broken and have had to be thrown away. A number of possibilities have been looked at and no final decision has yet been reached.

Hearing Loop

February 2009: The Committee are currently finalising plans to install a hearing loop in the Hall. Funding applications are currently being prepared for this important facility.

In the coming years, we need to complete the installation of new 'safety lighting' plus the main hall will need re-wiring throughout. We will also need new tables and chairs. The outside will need a coat or two of paint. So as you can see...the work never stops!
